Registration for the 2010-2011 Season
Fall registration for the 2010-2011 season will take place at the studio on September 8th and 9th from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm. Registration fee is $30.00
Classes begin on September 18th.
Elite Dance Studio wins top awards at several regional competitions
Elite Dance Studio participated in three regional dance competitions this season and took away several top honors.

Competative Dance Camps
We will be holding our competative dance camps with weeks of August 16th - 20th and August 23rd - 27th.
Elite Pre-Registration Now Available for Existing Students ONLY
Pre-registration is available once again this year to all 2010/2011 Elite Dance Studio students as a priority enrolment system to allow appropriate scheduling of classes based on age, level and recreational or competitive status.

Elite Clothing Now Available
Elite Dance Studio students and parents can now order Elite Clothing. Orders are required by December the 16th, 2009 and will be received in February of 2010.
H1N1 FLU VIRUS – PREVENTATIVE MEASURES
There has been much talk about the H1N1 flu virus among us these days. As you may know the H1N1 flu virus is contagious and spreads the same way as regular seasonal influenza. This happens when an infected person coughs or sneezes and their germs enter the nose, eyes or throat of another person. The germs can also rest on hard surfaces and can be picked up on hands and transmitted to the respiratory system when someone touches their mouth and/or nose.
As more cases are being suspected and reported throughout the city, I want to ensure you that Elite, as a dance school that many children participate at, is doing their part. We have hand sanitizer in the waiting area of the studio. We have provided Lysol disinfectant wipes in each studio and have asked the teachers to wipe down the ballet barres and door handles after each class and to wash their hands frequently. We also have hand sanitizers in each studio and will ask each student to use the hand sanitizer as they enter the studio.
We have removed the general toys from the waiting room and have clean and sanitized them and will put them back out at a later date.
Preventive measures are key to assisting in halting the spread of any virus. If you or your child are sick with flu like symptoms (ie: cough, fever, muscle aches, sore throat, headache, runny nose), stay home until all your symptoms are gone and you feel well enough to participate in all activities. Elite Students Close Out the Dance Season with Great Success
Elite Dance Studio students closed out their 2008-2009 season with great success at the Bedazzled Finals in Collingwood Ontario in July.
Elite Dance Studio will now offer RAD ballet curriculum and exams
Elite has secured an Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) teacher for the fall and will be running the RAD curriculum and exams for the 2009-2010 season.

The award for Miss Teen CanDance-Ottawa was presented to Elite Dance Studio Soloist, Olivia Boyer, at the Ottawa Regional Competition in April.
